SEA
SEA Vision Statement
Our vision is an excellent public education system that provides equitable resources at every corner of our city where educators are empowered and supported to provide our students the best education in the world.
SEA Mission
Our mission is to join together the voices of all educators to ensure the highest quality instructional environment. By empowering and uniting educators, we build towards an equitable future for students, families, and community. We use our collective voice to fight for the support educators need to meet the challenging work they perform each and every day.
2024- 2025 SEA Governance Goals
The principal goals of our 2024- 2025 governance team are to increase membership and member participation. We will do so by focusing on membership education and building out strong organizing structures. We commit to building upon our solid foundation, to secure SEA’s continued economic wellbeing, bargain strong contracts with SPS, and leave our organization better than we found it all while centering marginalized voices.
